What actually happened today, however, was that we got the grocery shopping done and made a semi-emergency trip to the vet with our dog, Suzy. Ben found her with a bloody paw so we whisked her off to the vet. The kids were really worried about her as we waited to hear what the vet had to say.
She's got a laceration to her back paw, but she's going to be fine :) I'm so thankful for a wonderful vet!
We did get all the grocery shopping finished, though, and we have a fully stocked pantry and fridge just waiting for the cookies, treats, and yummy Christmas foods to be made!

How did Suzy get the laceration to her poor paw? Hope she is on the mend soon. I notice she is sporting the Christmas bandana I made for her. I'll have to look around and see if I can find one for Memphis. Wouldn't want him to get his feelings hurt! :-)
