When a boy makes his bed he takes the simplest approach. He pulls up the quilt until it covers the pillow, hides the books and small stuffed animals he sleeps with, and looks semi-neat.
When a girl makes her bed she goes all out. Layers of her favorite blankets and quilts are topped off by a stack of pillows four layers deep and a mountain of stuffed animals.

ReplyDeleteLove it.
ReplyDeleteWell, just be glad the boys will make the bed. Most of them can't see a good reason to make the bed. The big boy at my house (that would be Gramps!) says, "Why make the bed? You're just going to get back in it tonight!"
ReplyDeleteP.S. Happy to see Luci is getting good use out of Aunt Charlotte's crocheted throw. :-) And it's pink! Right up Luci's alley.
Love it! Well, in OUR house, I'm the one who doesn't really like to make the bed. Before Rich married me, he made his bed neatly every morning. Now we're pretty slack! (But when I make the bed, I want it done right!)
ReplyDeleteGrammy,, Stated it correctly...If it was up to me the Bed would Only be made when Company is/was coming...LOL Gramps
